I just purchased a Collectible Avatar from the shop. Why isn’t it in my Vault?
After purchasing a collectible, it needs to be minted on the blockchain. As you wait for it to mint, you can start using your Collectible Avatar immediately in the avatar builder. Once minting is completed, you should see it in your Vault. If your collectible isn’t in your Vault or builder and payment has gone through, please send a message through REDDIT help form from the email address associated with your Reddit account and they’ll be happy to look into this.
What do I actually own? Can I sell my Collectible Avatar as an NFT?
What you actually “own” is a bundle of rights, including the right to display avatar art associated with your Collectible Avatar on and off Reddit, along with the right to access specialty avatar effects when displaying that art as your avatar on Reddit.
These rights are licensed to you by Reddit and licensors, including independent creators. You can use, copy, and display the avatar art for your own personal use, and you can transfer these rights to others by selling or transferring your Collectible Avatar to another individual. However, we don’t support secondary sales of Collectible Avatars on Reddit today.
